Each week we gather in the Garden Room to discuss what matters most concerning the truth claims of Christianity and how they relate to a particular academic discipline, current event, or speaker’s experience. These conversations represent the best of what dialogue between differing opinions can evoke. The circle is drawn wide to include views and perspectives different from our own in hopes of discovering more of what C.S. Lewis referred to as those principles and truths which constitute that which is “merely Christian.” We hope you’ll add your voice to the conversation.

Mere Christianity Forum is dedicated to thoughtful and ecumenical exploration of Christian faith.

Mere Christianity Forum, Inc. runs both the Forum, and Vista House. The Forum is a series of lectures and discussions on theology, philosophy and culture led by our Executive Director, faculty members of Furman University in Greenville, South Carolina, and noted thinkers and professors from around the nation. Vista House is an off-campus hospitality center and intentional Christian community situated one mile from Furman.
